BIOGRAPHYFew men are as provocative as Dr. Ergun Caner, and even fewer have smiled all the way through it. Born in Stockholm, Sweden in 1966, Caner was raised a devout Sunni Muslim by his Turkish father who came to America to build Mosques.As the oldest of the three sons, Ergun was led to Christ by a persistent High School friend. Caner has been preaching and teaching almost since that day some thirty-five years ago. He is currently the Dean of the Graduate School of Theology at the Arlington Baptist University in Arlington, Texas.Over the last twenty-five years, Caner has been a Seminary and College President, Professor of Evidential Apologetics, Speaker and Author.He has written over twenty books, many with his brother, Dr. Emir Caner, President of Truett-McConnell College in Georgia. Caner is one of the most popular speakers on the circuit, having spoken in hundreds of youth camps, evangelism conferences and Apologetic conferences. Caner had earned five degrees from accredited institutions, including three Masters degrees and a D.Theol. from the University of South Africa.
