About Eric Forbes

I began my professional journey in testing and quickly understood the importance of systems verification. Tight deadlines and pressures sparked a paradigm shift. I defined my goal as such: To improve the process and procedures in product development for testers and developers alike. To achieve this goal, I pursued the Systems Engineering discipline and focused on building a strong foundation. So far I have found myself working towards a PhD directly in this field. As to broaden my professional education outside of work, I became a licensed Professional Engineer, and a PMP (Project Management Professional). My passion for 5G and Systems has led me to the amazing work going on here at Lockheed Martin where I am proud to use my knowledge and experience. My main contributions support: requirements, modeling, testing, and debugging. I love rolling up my sleeves, and digging in. I am not afraid to get into the code, get lost in “log land” and help debug/contribute where needed to find the root causes of failures. I have found and enjoyed being an invaluable “glue” helping and holding projects within the never ending dance of scope, development, and test.
