  During this internship, I have taken part in various projects within the Dallas Historical Society’s nearly 3-million-piece collection of Texas artifacts held at The Hall of State. So far these projects have included the following:Library catalogingLibrary deaccession: Removing water damaged books from shelves and databasing softwareAssisted in creating finding Aids for: -The Dallas Shakespeare Club Collection -The Thomas Love Collection -The Martinez CollectionAssisted with entering collections into Past Perfect for: -The Jessie Ames Collection -The Hatton Sumners Collection -The Revenchon Collection -The J. L. Patton Collection -The Dallas Shakespeare Club -The Marry K. Craig Class Collection -The Martinez CollectionProcessed incoming donations for: -The Dallas Mavericks Collection -The Tom Landry Collection -Routine Staff (donations not associated with a specific collection)Assisted with the conservation/preservation of items within the collection that were in disrepair, including: -Various books and periodicals within the library and the archives -The rehousing of The John Knott Collection -Preservation of the Martinez Collection, which I did as a solo project Assisted in Reframing/Matting Photos in the Tom Landry CollectionAssisted in designing and preparing the Ron St. Angelo addition to the Tom Landry ExhibitPhotographed and scanned documents and artifacts of various collections
