Hello, I'm Eric, and I love to code! I believe that a strong relationship with a professional team is the key to success, and that any problem can be solved when passionate thinkers come together. At BigBear.ai, I strive for results with reproducibility. This includes workshopping and designing with the team, development, testing, and extensive documentation. I write code that's easy to follow for the goal of getting as many eyes on our projects as possible, and making the lives of my coworkers easier. During my time at GWU, I had the privilege of working alongside many of the faculty to improve our curriculum and get students engaged. As a TA, I was blessed to see many of the students look back with pride as they excelled at their studies and achieved their goals through dedication. At Stockton University, I designed the challenges for the annual CSTA coding competition for high school students, in addition to creating automated judging software so our staff could spend time engaging with next generation's engineers. I also had the honor of working alongside a brilliant doctor and engineer to design and build monitors for hospital ventilators, leveraging machine learning to analyze common problems that many critical patients will face. I would continue singing the praises about the abundance of stellar colleagues, bosses, classmates, and professors I have been lucky to work with in my career, but it would require more characters than allowed for this section :). In my personal life, I find myself enamored with anything engineering. Whether that's working on cars, building physical hardware with microcontrollers, or working on a piece of software to solve problems my friends have, anything with a challenge will grab my attention. As I work on more projects, I plan to share them here as well as on github and website so others can contribute.
