Role Summary•Lead a Department within Retail Setting Out, ranging from Junior Setter Out to Assistant Manager, in all aspects of the design, technical drawing and manufacturing instruction process, ensuring best practice is used at all time•Coordinate between all internal departments including Estimation, Production, Purchasing and Site installation teams to ensure a smooth flow of information•Oversee all communication with clients to ensure all information required is readily available and manages their expectations of cost control, quality and speed of dispatch•Prioritize workload and manpower to service several individual and roll out projects running consecutively•Effectively analyze and guide setting out team on manufacturing shop drawings in order to ensure efficient manufacturing process, installation and client satisfaction•Effective reporting of progress on all projects to Senior ManagementRole Description•Receive brief from client or internal source and issue initial RFIs as required•Assist and guide project leaders with project drawing schedules•Manage the flow of information from sites/clients to Setting Out, including material sample submittal and approvals, drawing submittal and approvals, site surveys, installation, planning and coordination•Review with managers, cost sensitivity, checking materials allowed details and obtain clearance for variations•Ensure that material requisitions are placed on time so that all necessary materials arrive before production commences•Effective interpretation and understanding of contractual requirements•Committed to ensuring customers receive an exceptional level of service by building strong, long lasting relationships•To coordinate with HR department to ensure all internal company policies are followed and to ensure all trainings aspects are identified and fulfilled

Duties and Responsibilities:•Drafting various types of joinery and furniture Types of jobs which I usually execute are hotel interiors, bank interiors, commercial showrooms, shops/boutiques, residential buildings and villas, palaces for the King of Bahrain•Jobs which I normally set out are paneling, doors, rails, skirting, architraves, window frames, counters, perimeter units (Bulkhead & Canopy), display units, false columns, timber shelving, glass shelving, acrylic shelving, etc•I also set out various types of metal and aluminums – doors, windows, balusters, trusses, custom design metal and timber furniture, and metal ornaments I prepare shop fitting drawings for manufacture, assembly and inspection•I prepare order requisitions, cutting lines, and loading lines in every project handle I also supervise the construction and inspection after manufacture•Reporting to Assistant Manager or to the Department Head regarding issues on the projects handled•Analyzing and review of design drawings in preparation of detailed workshop drawings including, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing And Structural For approvals and comments•Design & Details Steel Columns of Window Shop fronts, Structural Steel Supports and Hangers, Steel Framings &Wood Roof Truss•Preparation of Cutting Lines for machine shop and assembly•Preparation of material orders, ironmongery’s and other items to be use in assembly and construction as per specifications on design drawings•Listing of units, materials and items on Loading Lines for site delivery and dispatched•Coordinate with project managers, during shop fitting installation in site
