Designed and developed Chemeketa's hospitality & tourism management credentials in 2003 to emphasize front-of-house management positions and business acumen in the hospitality industry. Led the implementation of online delivery for all degree courses. Revised and updated curriculum for new degrees and certificates in 2016. Built and have taught 23 for-credit course curricula. Past member of the Academic Standards Advisory Committe (ASAC) from 2003-17, including 3 terms as Chair of ASAC. In 2018, designed and launched a Wine Hospitality Operations Program, in partnership with the Wine Studies department to address the skills gap in the Willamette Valley wine industry around Direct-To-Consumer (DTC) marketing & distribution as eCommerce and competition disrupted Oregon's three-tier distribution system threatening winery revenues. My operational management background in industry enables curricular solutions that are quick-to-market and focused on profit improvement strategies and processes for industry.

My clients include the world's leading multi-national hospitality chains, and independent lodging consortia. Served on the Blue Ribbon Committee for Quality Service, appointed by Gerry Frank in 1996. Led the design and delivery of the Quality Service Initiative (QSI) that built in-destination capacity to boost higher quality visitor experiences as a piece of broader tourism development. In Oregon, 29 communities and the Oregon State Parks & Recreation Department participated in QSI. Later developed both classroom-based, and online delivered customer service training programs for Travel Oregon.

Project work included clients such as Four Seasons, Manadarin Oriental, Peninsula Group, Swiss Leading hotels, Preferred Hotels, Hilton International, Marriott International and InterContinental Hotels & Resorts. Based out of Geneva, Switzerland.
