I'm Eric Alban. Before attending and completing commercial diving school I spent 15 years in the vertical construction industry. I started at a young age on a residential framing and commercial remodeling crew and over the years moved into multi-million dollar commercial projects ranging from small business to major energy industry projects. After education and training I found myself in geotechnical engineering firms from a technician to project management for vertical and horizontal construction mainly based around civil infrastructure (city roads, state highways, land and over water bridges, railroads, airports and foundational work for city projects public and private) and the energy industry. Oil, gas, wind, solar and nuclear. My knowledge and special training is testing and inspection for materials and aggregates. Examples are concrete, soils, asphalt, process and testing. During my youth before construction, I was a machinist for the oil, gas, mechanical and aerospace industry. For seven years, I set up tooling, programmed and operated CNC mills and lathe machines. I also did the same for manual machines. My mechanical/fabrication aptitude is more than proficient and overall construction experience is highly valuable. I'm looking forward to sharing my knowledge and learning more. As a commercial diver, I've experienced practically the same career, but under water. I've found myself much more excited about work and very enthusiastic about being on a good team.
