Test Engineering Manager

Responsible for coordinating a team of engineers and technicians for the following:• Customer Interaction – Deal directly with customers, both internal and external, to achieve the goals of the program. Direct relationships with manufacturers and carriers such as T-Mobile, Verizon, LG, Samsung, etc.• Test Engineering – Setup of equipment and software to support the testing process requirement of the customers with the end goal of sending out a fully tested quality product to the end user. Example: RF testing, Future dial, Pervacio.• Product Engineering – Supporting the device throughout its lifecycle, from inception through its end of life. This included teardowns, fixtures, repair, modifications, etc. • Project Engineering (NPI) – Lead and coordinate various teams and activities for launching new businesses and products.• Training – Hands on technical training for all employees when hired and during the course of their employment. Maintaining training records for ISO certifications.• Failure Analysis – Investigating rejected units (bounce) to identify root cause and corrective actions. Implementing those corrective actions in the production area to decrease failures and improve yield.
