Hello, I'm Eric. I love mountain biking, programming/AI, music, various sciences, and virtual reality. I have experience with C/C++, C#, Java, Js, and Python programming languages. I love studying how computers can improve our daily lives -- machine/deep learning is extremely interesting to me, I am enjoying my artificial intelligence minor and independently working on my own computer vision project using TensorFlow and Keras. One piece of this ongoing work has won funding at a university startup-pitch competition in Canada with my cofounding computer engineering student. I have experience with basic macro scripting and excel -- I was employed as a volunteer for the ARC as a volunteer hours data manager for the South Florida region for 3 years and was given many data transferring-related tasks at OHLA USA as an estimating intern. I am currently on the electrical power systems team of the Purdue Space Program satellite team and was a "Cast in Steel" competition competitor on behalf of the Purdue metal casting club. Here, along with my CAD projects assigned during ME 29700: Graphics Communication and Spatial Analysis, I developed experience using Siemens NX to design various mechanical components. I have used MATLAB for data/mathematical modeling, graphical communication, and mathematical applications like direction field generation for systems of differential equations. On my own, I also love learning about finance, accounting, investing, economics, and philosophy, all skills and hobbies I have applied to research and produce theses for both my internship with Terra Partners Asset Management Limited and my own portfolio. I have long term interests in business, cybersecurity, AI, and virtual reality (and the future of our their inevitable marriage)
