C5C Terminal Block: Product generated over $5MM in sales.Plastic Line Terminal for Ericsson®/AT&T® GPON network used in U-Verse system: Collaborative effort with Ericsson to develop an optical/electrical sealed line terminal to be sold to AT&T. Project was completed successfully with $1MM in bookings.

Responsible for finite element analysis of various compressor components and Gram/Frick reciprocating compressor packages. Modeled oil separator to address costly vibration problem believed inherent to separator design. Final solution required the elimination of stiffening ribs which yielded a cost reduction.

Oak Ridge Tn

Designed and built a high pressure flow facility used to simulate blocked channel fluid dynamics in a reactor core. Constructed three-dimensional NISA finite element model to verify design by performing structural analysis on Lexan and glass assembly under high pressure. Worked on structural analysis of particle accelerator end-door design being built at Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC) using the NISA finite element software.
