Current- Worked on the development of an optical transdermal glucose biosensor, using fluorescently labeled glucose binding protein for various uses including non-invasive cell culture monitoring, and the neonatal intensive.
- Perform prokaryotic cell cultures and protein purification, fluorescent labeling, and immobilization.
- Perform experiments with immobilized glucose and glutamine binding protein in microfluidic columns by using a mini-fluorometer to measure analyte concentrations in samples.
- Fabricate and test microfluidic columns.
- Test samples from clinical trials, and assist in the collection of said samples.
- Used 96-well plate reader to measure glucose and glutamine concentrations in a cell free in vitro translation system as translation progressed.
