Redesigned the data structures and rewrote the program to work on multiple slides. Designed and implemented the algorithm to automatically focus the microscope for low-light, fluorescent images. Did the pattern recognition work, designing and implementing a segmentation program and neural net combination to identify and mark the target cells. Work was done in Visual Basic and Visual C++ on Windows NT systems.
