I restarted and rebuilt the music program that had been cancelled 8 years prior to my arrival. I recruited students from the High School and two local Elementary Schools. I was a tender of the bar, but also served tables occasionally, and just a general helper around the restaurant. I was involved with training new staff and consultations for the addition of new menu items in the bar.

I have finished my professional year of the teacher training program at Lakehead University. Aside from two semesters of university study of educational theory, philosophy, law, and methods, I have finished two practice teaching sessions that last five weeks. One session is in junior level (grades 3-6) and the other is in primary level (Junior Kindergarten to Grade 2). I also made weekly visits to local schools to engage in literacy coaching with students aged 4 to 11.

As a member of the University Singers Choir, I had the opportunity and privilege to perform with over one hundred of my fellow University of Windsor students, a variety of classic and modern vocal compositions. My favourites were Carmina Burana and Beethoven's Ode to Joy, the latter we performed live with the Windsor Symphony Orchestra. It was a great learning experience, and a lot of fun.

After volunteering in the offices of CJAM for one semester during my undergraduate studies, I began hosting a variety music show. I was on the air for over six years, during which I was nominated for best new show, best variety show, and best alternative show several years in a row, and winning the "best music variety show" award in 2007. I also set a few records for fundraising including biggest first-time pledge-drive fundraising.
