In March 2011, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati and with a certificate in Addiction Studies. I spent 9 years at Macy’s in Kenwood where I acquired a vast knowledge in customer service and merchandising. In addition, I was a member of the U.S. Army Reserve with a military occupational specialty in Psychological Operations (PSYOP), which I acquired from the JFK Special Warfare Center and School. While being in the Reserves I was deployed to Iraq in 2008 as a Psychological Operations Assistant Team Leader and to Afghanistan in 2012 as a PSYOP Team Leader. I conducted conducted meetings with Afghan village leaders and daily patrols to villages to talk face to face with over 400 local Afghans, to build rapport, persuade, and influence their behaviors to meet the overall objectives and conducted a wide range of conflict resolution. I developed and executed a wide range of marketing campaigns to influence the behaviors of a target group of people with extensive analysis of the effects. While in the Reserves I was in charge of the operations section of my company where I managed 25+ soldiers in training, developing younger soldier’s leadership skills and yearly reviews of my supervisors.
