Skycatcher (November 2006 – August 2009)- Designed and drafted primary airframe components and assemblies using CatiaV5 (~6,000 hrs)- Conducted scheduling meetings during the prototype construction phase- Assisted the experimental assembly shop when issues arouse during the build process- Coordinated with Stress, Fatigue, Manufacturing, Weights, Systems, and Propulsion to ensure the needs of all groups were met during the design process Caravan (June 2006 – November 2006)- Coordinated with the Project Engineer and various programmers to develop new engineering processes and tools for converting drawings from CatiaV4 to CatiaV5

- Performed capability studies on key cutting machines- Designed and fabricated tools for assembly line operators to use during production - Created detailed engineering drawings using Pro-Engineer- Documented design changes for future reference- Machined and assembled prototype lockset components for cyclic testing

- Research, design, and testing of automotive components produced from titanium alloys as part of a nuclear arms anti-proliferation grant with Texmet, Honeywell and the College of Engineering. - Performed computer analysis and complete mechanical drawings of racecar components. - Co-worked on a comprehensive report emphasizing the design objectives, build quality, and final evaluation of each component
