About Eric Augustine

Presently I am a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee working on my Master's in Computer Science with a focus on AI & ML. I am interested in "fair" machine learning with a focus on the long-term effects of current fair algorithmic interventions and graph algorithms in general. Last year I worked on a research project performing data analysis and implementing a recommender algorithm for a problem in the finance domain.In my previous careers, I primarily designed, deployed, and automated support for technologies such as web servers (JBoss/Wildfly), asynchronous messaging (IBM MQ, HornetQ), task automation (Rundeck), and auth management (Keycloak) on both Windows and Unix server environments.I have a breadth of experience in different programming and scripting languages such as Python, C, C#, Java, Powershell and Bash to name a few.
