In 1982, I graduated from The York School in Monterey, California, where the motto, "Find what you love. Do it well. Share it," resonated deeply with me and continued to guide my professional journey. Four years later, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, where I was captivated by courses that explored the dynamics of power, its far-reaching consequences, and the ethical dilemmas it presents.In 1991, I received my Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law and have been a proud member of the California State Bar since 1992. In 1996, after several years practicing civil litigation, I transitioned to the business world, becoming part owner, Co-CEO, and General Counsel of Cabernet Corp., an international wine company with interests in Chile and sales internationally. Domestically, Cabernet Corp. serves as a nationally distributed wine importer of a select few, family owned, sustainably driven, wineries from Chile, Argentina, and New Zealand.
