Mr. Babat is a highly experienced litigator in the personal injury field, concentrating his practice in motor vehicle negligence, premises liability, municipal liability, construction accidents and general negligence litigation. He also has a strong background in professional malpractice defense and commercial litigation. After law school, he worked in the general counsel’s office of a large accounting firm and thereafter was an associate of an insurance defense firm handling general litigation.Mr. Babat is a 1983 graduate of Cornell University with a B.S. degree in Marketing and Finance. He received is law degree with Honors from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 1986, where he was a member of the Law Review.
