I was part of the R&I Unit that manages national funds for R&I through the development and operation of programmes, which in turn, create vehicles for research across the public, academic and private sectors. A portfolio of funding programmes provides researchers with the opportunity to translate their ideas into tangible projects and eventual products or services.I was responsible for executing the consultative, externalistaion, legal, financial and project monitoring processes for the FUSION; Research Excellence Programme (REP) and the FUSION; Technology Extension Support Programme (TESP).I was also fortunate to represent MCST at various and freuquent internal and external dissemination events, activities, one-to-one meetings, conferences, workshops and presentations (while drafting their subsequent PR content for social media), in order to externalise our entity's and R&I Unit's functions.
