About Eric Ballester

If you’re an individual or part of an organization that’s committed to military families and veterans, you know that information overload makes it hard to find outreach initiatives that will be effective and impactful. Many people are concerned about wasting philanthropic resources on a fiduciarily irresponsible organization. Providing resources for military families by supporting the vision and execution for outreach means you must find an organization that has a valuable cause that is also transparent, accountable, and full of integrity. Hi, I’m Eric Ballester, and I’m committed to serving as the Executive Director at The Rick Herrema Foundation (RHF). We enrich the lives of military families with the transparency, integrity, and accountability you’re looking for. I’m a retired 20-year special operations veteran, having completed 10 combat tours. I empathize deeply with the challenges faced by those who serve on the front lines and their families. Here’s how I lead RHF and work alongside our partners: 👇➡️ Steer the organization to execute a vision of expanding services nationally with programs that empower and connect military families and communities. ➡️ Oversee the operations of Rick’s Place, a 50-acre greenspace park designed as a haven for warriors and their families. ➡️ Manage RHF's sustainability and growth while providing continuous programs and events to over 50,000 visitors annually, all at no cost.➡️ Leverage innovative protocols for healing after service with segmented activities designed to engage every member of the military family. ➡️ Collaborate with our partners and work to improve RHF's ability to serve through fundraising, advocating, and improving processes. When you support RHF, you will see first-hand how you are making a difference. It’s an opportunity to be involved in creating abundance and relieving stress for families who sacrifice comfort and freedoms as a result of military service. Military families need the RHF community, and we stand ready. Join us in serving our nation's protectors."We came down with 13 cousins to do some work around the property and then help out at the Fall Fest. Oh, what fun to see all the kids spending time with their parents and having such a great time. Thank you to everyone at Rick's Place for all that you do to make it such an amazing place!" -RHF Volunteer"I love this place and it is a true blessing to me and my family." -Military Service Member🔗Let’s connect on LinkedIn📧Email me: eric@rhfnow.org 🌐Learn more: https://rhfnow.org/
