I am currently enrolled as a sophomore at DePaul University where I am majoring in Accounting with a minor in Economics. I have had a passion for dealing with numbers because of their everyday use in the real world. I believe accounting is a way to really get involved in the business world and be able to explore different options.As a full time student at DePaul and currently working a part time job I have learned how to manage my time effectively and efficiently. I have been able to hold a good standing in my class so far through my first year at DePaul and believe that through my organization skills I will be able to continue to do so through not only my academic career but my future job as well.As a first-generation college student I thrive to continue to work hard and fulfill what I set out for myself. I look to make my mom proud who is my greatest inspiration and motivation to get through these next couple of years and be able to be an example for my younger siblings. I have volunteered at an amazing organization called Feed My Starving Children to help countries where food is not available to kids on a daily basis. Helping others is very important to me because not everyone has the opportunities to be able to be in the position I am in so to be able to help communities with high populations of minorities is important to me.Specialties: Accounting, Math, Time management, Organization skills
