Currently working with Internal and External teams from Newcrest and IBM to deliver a datacentre consolidation and migration into the IBM SCE+ private cloud offering. Dealing with mostly Network (DMZ, VPN, Firewall, Reverse Proxying, Loadbalancing) and Server infrastructure, Service/Applicaiton migration and functional cutovers, Virtualisation (VMWare), V2V technologies (Doubletake).Previous projects:Worked with a vendor to deliver a Lync 2010 migration of 4000 global seats from OCS-R2. During this deployment, we worked to remove legacy PABX infrastructure and replace it with a current, capable technology - NET Gateways, to successfully transition our corporate offices to an Enterprise Voice / Unified Messaging solution, rolling this out to a quarter of our user base.Worked on the IT integration and consolidation for the takeover work of LGL organisation. This saw me working with multiple vendors in Australia and PNG to perform the AD Migration / Integration of the LGL server/compute/users as well as initial connectivity design and implementation. This year long project placed me in various locations in Australia and abroad (Melbourne, Brisbane, rural QLD, and Lihir Island in PNG). dealing with all aspects of their business, facing challenges of ageing infrastructure as well as other process issues as they arose. I was also responsible for ensure the project team followed our change control and safe work procedures whilst out on mine sites.
