See if a customer can deviate from their existing product so they can have a product that fits their needs. Find specific details for buyers and sales so we can give and or get a quote for parts. Technical sales is a position where you have to be detail oriented and have to understand that your at the forefront of a quote meaning that if you don't get the information out in a hurry and accurately then we could possibly lose the business of our customers.

Tipton Structural is a small Structural fabrication shop that has plasma sheet steel cutting capabilities as well as plasma/punch capabilities for various types of I beams and square tube. Was apart of a group of young Lean Engineers who's goal was to transform a company who had zero lean tendencies to a lean company. I worked on various projects while employees at Midwest Metals. My main focus during my employment was supplemental print design and management of the companies Statistical Process control (SPC).I would analyze a customers print and decide the pertinent information E.g. Dimensions, standards, and tolerances needed then create a print to be released to the shop floor. Before being released I would take all dimensions listed on the supplemental prints and input SPC data into our internal software so we could control and track how each part was being made. Other projects I worked on at Midwest was the implementation of 5s and process flow for a shop floor layout.
