As a Developer and then as a team leader I am required to work on embedded machine to machine GSM/GPRS/3G modules (M2M modules , MO/XS200, HILO) on the software part. I first work as a developer then lead a software team, including:- C developments of new AT commands in applications layer- C developments and analysis in data layer (serial link rs232), IP/TCP stack, telecommunication layer GSM and GPRS and in real time OS (nucleus).- Use of JTAG T32 Lauterbach for debugging purpose, and proprietary tracer to spy and get telecommunication stack traces- Use of proprietary tools to dump RAM and Flash memories- Use of ethereal for IP/TCP protocol issues- Use of ARM and TI compilation chain tools under Cygwin (Linux)- Use Perl scripts to compile and Python scripts to write testsapplications- Use a CVS and Subversion-Tortoise as revision control systems (use to commit files and tag branches)- Use Bugzilla to manage bugs, and beyond compare as a directory and file comparator- Use of 3GPP documents as a references for specification and developments- Write specifications for new developments- Participate to the factory software architecture- Start a process to improve software management quality using Reqtify- Customers support : conference calls and Business trips (Europe,Australia, Canada, Singapore and China) to customers offices tosupport them on their own devices- Establishment of customers support and ticketing tool (OTRS)- Management of third party source code suppliers, weekly meetingsand conference calls- Lead a team (France and China) to make choice of newcomings developments and customers needs, to arrange planning and referee on softwares architecture- Ecall
