I manage a small team of firewall technicians who support our clients Meraki firewalls. I provide guidance on networking questions and issues in relation to our customers networks, to provide a secure network to our customers that meet their PCI compliance requirements for their network.I also manage the day to day operations of my team. This includes managing our on call rotation, phone queue coverage, time off, and other day to day duties as assigned by my director. I am currently being trained as a CyberSecurity Analyst for SecurityMetrics. I am gaining experience within Kibana to look at our clients firewall traffic, and spot potential malicious activity occurring on the network through the use of threat hunting methodology. In addition to experience in Kibana, I am also gaining experience with Sophos Endpoints. I am a certified Sophos Engineer and use endpoints to further deep dive on clients network who use our services, for the purpose of detecting potentially unwanted applications, malware, or any other potentially malicious activity taking place on the network.
