Eric Batson is an Instructional Design Specialist at Capital Group, one of the world’s largest investment management firms. He has over 10 years of experience in designing and developing training for multiple business units, using a variety of modalities, such as instructor-led, webinar, e-learning, self-paced paper, video, audio, and graphics. He also holds a master’s degree in Communication Studies from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.Eric is passionate about creating engaging and effective learning experiences that meet the needs and preferences of diverse learners. He is skilled with Articulate Rise and Storyline, the Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, and developing learning assessments, scripts, and storyboards. He has led internal and external projects, collaborated with subject matter experts, and collected and analyzed data from business units to determine appropriate training interventions. He has developed and facilitated training for the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. Agency for International Development, and other customers and internal employees.
