Served as the MXDEA acting engineer supervisor from 01/08/2024 through 05/02/2024 and 8/14/2024 to 9/3/2024 (over four months total). Perform technical and administrative lead duties by identifying, distributing, assigning, and balancing workload and tasks amongst team of up to 16 engineers and 2 interns. Lead program manager and engineers through a rigorous Industrial Process Control program to actively support a squadron with over 110k square feet of production space, over 850 PDNs, and 400 pieces of equipment. Coordinate CMXG engineering efforts in a MILCON project worth over $100 million working in a coalition with MXSG and Civil Engineering to create Advocacy Slides, BBP, Economic Analysis and 35% design approval. Provide engineering support for the Superior Energy Performance for building 200 &210 resulting in the ISO 50001 certification award, first in the Department of Defense. Created and managing a program on Cost Effective Readiness resulting in over a 125% increase in cost avoidance/savings from nearly $2.2M in FY2023 to over $5M in FY2024. Wrote awards for CY23, Q3 SET Team of the Quarter and CY24, Q1 SET Employee of the Quarter and both were awarded by CMXG and OC-ALC leadership. Support growth and learning through setting up summer intern tour and out-brief presentations, promoting senior capstone projects, host and actively participate in monthly lead engineer luncheons, and continue to pursue bi-weekly employee enhancement training for the air/avionics/oxygen engineers and interns.

Served as the technical expert for the organization and provided status and advisory services to management on issues and projects for multiple fuel system shops, machine shop, and NDI shop on process controls. Performed facility engineering duties for building 3907 to include planning necessary projects and troubleshooting past and current issues, completing form 304s. Applied advanced engineering theories, principles, and concepts to project development, execution and advisory services. Planned, designed, tested, troubleshot, evaluated, and oversaw the development and sustainment of mechanical systems and devices. Communicated clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy, both orally and in writing, as well as worked in a professional manner with shop personnel, peers, contractors, and management to include the squadron director and CMXG group commander.

Created, edited and reviewed contractual agreements between the Program Office and third parties. Ensured all requirements of law were followed, compliance of contract terms, funds were available and that the government gained value in its contractual agreements through the use of cost & price analysis and price negotiation. Completed DAWIA Level 1 Contractor Training and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Training. Awarded Most Valuable Player (MVP) two times in 2021.

Provided engineering advice to an assortment of companies in the United States, serving as a supervisor and safety leader for oil & gas drilling teams to include field consultants and third-party representatives. Communicated as a liaison between operators and regulatory agencies to maintain regulatory compliance. Previous contracts worked included that of XTO Energy (ExxonMobil), GulfSlope Energy (offshore Gulf of Mexico), Crescent Consulting and more.

Engineered and supported drilling operations of up to five drill rigs at any given time in the Delaware Basin and Potash formations of New Mexico for extended lateral wells of up to 27k feet measured depth, using rotary steerable directional tools, managed pressure drilling and oil based mud. Worked closely in the office with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure operations were performed safely and with respect to regulatory guidelines.

Monitored and recorded daily progress of well operations, coordinated & supervised work of the drilling team. Created procedures for all drilling operations to include casing runs, cementing operations, planned sidetracks, bridge plug & balanced cement plug installation, perforating, wireline operations and various well control tasks. On a daily basis, maintained drilling reporting, performance curves, kick tolerance analysis, ECD management, analysis of cuttings samples & gas shows and kept in close communication with all personnel on the drill rig. Managed synthetic base mud properties and equivalent circulating densities while drilling in high pressure zones with limited kick tolerance, experiencing serious well control challenges. Attended and participated in all meetings to include safety, operations and fire drills. Created and presented a comprehensive “End of Well Review” to the executive team upon completion. Traveled to various shops to inventory and inspect company wellheads, casing strings and other equipment for upcoming wells to be drilled in the Ship Shoal #336 block of the GOM.

Engineered and supervised from start to finish, an Ellenberger salt-water disposal well. Planned & budgeted projects, acquired geological data, created directional plans, torque & drag and hydraulics modeling, BHA & casing design, wellbore diagrams, mud programs and cement programs to complete drilling programs for various oil & gas operators. Supervised drilling consultants on day-to-day drilling operations. Managed the safety of all personnel, drilling logistics and regulatory requirements.

Engineered and managed drilling operations of up to four drilling rigs simultaneously and over 200 wells with focus on extended reach laterals of up to 22,000’ MD in Colorado, Kansas and Oklahoma. Formations included both conventional and unconventional: Arbuckle, Chester, Manning, Meramec, Miss Lime, Niobrara, Osage and Woodford. Created and implemented comprehensive drilling programs for each well drilled then conducted corporate and field pre-spud meetings. Designed, planned and executed directional plans using Landmark Compass and Excel software. Analyzed anti-collision, bend strength ratios on bottom hole assembly, torque & drag and hydraulics using Landmark Wellplan software, designed casing programs using Landmark StressCheck software, created and regulated drilling AFE's, trained office and field staff on daily drilling reporting using Peloton Wellview, approved/disputed drilling invoices using ADP OpenInvoice software, gathered data using Excel, Tibco Spotfire and Powerpoint to make data presentable and present to executive management, worked closely with multi-disciplinary teams, visited third party shops for tool inspections, request & review bids from various third parties to ensure best performance and reasonable cost, consistently spent 10-20% in the field working closely with consultants and third party representatives during rig moves, casing runs, cement jobs and to present pre-spud meetings. Experienced at using LWD directional tools, rotary steerable tools, foam cement, water & oil base mud programs, various casing designs to include long strings and liners, attended oil & gas conventions as a company representative, volunteered for many philanthropy events to support the local community and hosted all drill rig tours for corporate personnel. On 2/27/2018, most of the drilling department including myself was laid off due to the current economic status at the time.
