Eric Benjamin drives the innovation and development of transformational products that ease the physical and mental challenges of diabetes, anticipating and meeting patients’ needs to provide an exceptional customer experience. Since joining Insulet in 2015, Eric has served in roles of increasing responsibility across the company’s business development, R&D, strategy and innovation functions. These include Director, Business Development, Vice President, Procurement and Supplier Development, Senior Vice President, R&D, New Product Development and Commercialization; Senior Vice President, Innovation and Strategy, Executive Vice President, Innovation, Strategy and Digital Products, and his current role as Chief Product and Customer Experience Officer. Prior to Insulet, Eric held roles spanning R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality with Abbott Laboratories in both the U.S. and in Ireland.Eric earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of California at Berkeley, a Master of Engineering in Bioengineering from the University of California at San Diego, and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
