Vibrant Data Labs is a social impact data science company with a mission to amplify the collective impact of climate funding via data tools and insights. Through Vibrant Data Lab's fiscal sponsor, OneEarth.org, they build philanthropically supported public tools to help everyone see who is funding what, and where are the gaps. As a scientist at the USGS Yosemite Field Station, I co-led a team of USGS, NPS, and University scientists to synthesize empirical field data with satellite and climate data to support evidence-based conservation policy in Yosemite National Park. Focal areas included: Alpine meadow ecology, conservation ecology, threatened species, and climate change.

I was the founding director of this University of California science and education center based inside Yosemite National Park - the first of its kind in the history of Yosemite. I helped to a) develop and implement the vision of this center, b) build out the infrastructure to support researchers and students, c) develop education and mentorship programs, and d) lead and support research collaborations between government agencies (NPS and USGS) and the University.
