As an Engineering graduate, I picture myself on a Research & Development team working as a Test Engineer or Design Engineer. Some of my skills that would apply for a Test Engineer include being extremely detail oriented, analytical, and strategic. When I am posed with a problem, I like to find multiple ways to solve it and sort out the best solution to get the best result. This reiterative mindset of mine would work well in the development environment. I’ve always been drawn to design, specifically CAD, since I was in high school. Over the years, I have learned new programs and new skills to bring ideas to life as 3D models and prototypes. With my technical background from engineering courses, I am able to understand the practicality and feasibility of design principles for a business or company.My career and personal goals include:1. Increase professional knowledge and experience, constantly acquire new skills, and be a lifelong learner2. Be financially educated and stable3. Excited, interested, and passionate about going into work everyday and working on unique, creative, innovative projects that truly make a difference4. Be able to proudly look back at projects and accomplishments and physically see the changes/results
