I specialize in ACT/SAT prep and one-on-one tutoring for AP, AICE, and general courses starting with 8th grade through high school. My core leadership attribute resides in the ability to motivate instructional stakeholders to perform at a high level. Over the course of 20 years as English Program Planner, I orchestrated innumerable PLC’s and teams that produced -- in part or whole -- various awards and recognitions at PCHS. A few are: three Bronze Awards and one Silver Award from U.S. News and World Report, top ten rankings in Florida Writes! including a first-place finish in the State of Florida in 1993, multiple SACS Accreditation cycles, 23 National Merit Finalists, more than 1,700 passing scores in AP English Literature and Language Exams, and multiple “A” school grades. I harbor the ability to model lessons for NET and veteran teachers, molding their teaching styles to increase the productivity of the organizational unit and, ultimately, the county at large. I work before and after hours to ensure that time sensitive information and testing procedures are complete and adhere to state guidelines. I consistently seek out and complete professional development, sharing my findings with all stakeholders. I consistently communicate with the community at large, informing parents/guardians of essential information for their children. I possess the ability to create a safe, efficient, and highly successful school culture and climate.Writing for multiple audiences and modes, communicating verbally, and reading comprehension are the cornerstones of my academic ability. Within the last four years, I have achieved multiple 90th percentile rankings on the SAT and ACT. Within this time frame, I have been awarded multiple perfect scores on the SAT Essay and the ACT Essay, both of which are housed in the 99+ percentile.
