* Supervise the Southeast Regional Office for the Office of Child Care.* Oversea the implementation of the Child Care Development Fund Grant with the 8states and 5 federally recognized tribes in Region IV.* Provide information about ACF Child Care activities to the general public and to specialized audiences through the most appropriate media.• Advise program administrators about the information needs for various audiences and how to best meet those needs.• Apply Federal Rules, Regulations and Policy to specific problems to come up with logical answers to questions raised by state agencies and external partners.• Develop resource and outreach materials that can be used for training and outreach purposes.• Develop, analyze, evaluate, and improve the effectiveness of work methods, organization, personnel utilization, delegations of authority, information and documentation systems• Approve State and Tribal plans for operating the programs.• Develop national and regional models and systems to improve program efficiency and effectiveness.• Conducting training sessions related to ACF Child Care.• Monitor program operations.• Collect and analyze information to evaluate State and local program operation.• Respond to letters, e-mails and phone requests from the public requesting program information.• Conduct analyses and studies of program activities.• Communicate effectively with others in writing as indicated by the needs of the audience.• Provide information and identifying essential information to State partners.* Participate in training conferences for HHS ACF Programs including TANF, Earned Income Tax Credits, Head Start and Child Care.• Solve problem issues related to the State and Tribal Child Care Program.* Responsible for ACF Asset Building efforts at the national and regional level.* Work closely with USDA-FNS staff and the national and regional level to improve the number of centers on CACFP.
