For SodaHead, I am responsible for two articles per day on the video game industry, and one more about oddball or quirky news. I have also previously written photo captions for “New Girl” and “Family Guy.”

At Huntington Hospital, I oversee a unit of eight Caregivers, all dedicated to the billing of and follow-up on Medicare and Medicaid claims. I am also tasked with reviewing the Medicare and Medicaid rules and regulations everyday for compliance to ensure that we are always billing for the most up-to-date guidelines and edits. I also review the edits for all of the Cardiac Catheterization claims throughout all of our various programs (Series, ePremis, and 3M).

As a supervisor at Mount Sinai, I am responsible for upholding the ideals and tenets of the hospital. In the Charge Entry department, I am responsible for a team of five employees. We verify that charges and prices of hospital products are correct on claims that are sent to insurance companies. Also, we are responsible for entering charges for various departments such as Cardiac Catheterization and Cardiovascular Institutes. As the unit’s supervisor, I am tasked with training my team on all department functions as well as maintaining and updating all charge and suspense files and performing monthly reviews.

Tasked with working on accounts receivable for both in–patient and out–patient accounts, regardless of dollar threshold or Insurance Company. Responsible for obtaining payment for said accounts and follow–up on accounts with various insurance companies that are not paid, be it appealing cases, submitting corrected claims, speaking with patients, taking all of the requisite steps to collect money.

Wrote movie reviews for “The Trotsky” and “The Killer Inside Me,” both were part of the website’s 2010 Tribeca Film Festival coverage. In addition to coverage of the festival, I also wrote articles for the television show "Lost’s" series finale. Most recently, I wrote piece about the new “Green Lantern” film. Also, responsible for recapping television series, like “Sons of Anarchy,” and “the Big Bang Theory,” as well as several pilot episodes of the 2011 fall season.

Would edit articles and create content such as the column, "Couch Potatoes Anonymous," a forum for TV show-based content. Also coordinated between the student journalists and media companies such as Warner Bros and Shout. During my tenure as Entertainment Editor, the Knight News was awarded Best Pullout Section.

Wrote opinionated column, “Eating Out,” for both the Little Neck and Douglaston Patch.com websites. Also, I have written business profiles for several local eateries. Wrote news pieces focusing on all aspects of Port Washington, New York, including school and library board meetings, fundraisers, and school sports as well as features on the Landmark on Main Street.
