Eric Blomberg is an accomplished litigator who has been exclusively representing plaintiffs in personal injury, medical malpractice, product liability and wrongful death cases throughout his legal career. Most recently, Eric settled a medical malpractice case against a hospital for a total payout of $2,450,000. The suit was filed on behalf of a psychiatric patient who suffered a traumatic brain injury after throwing himself from a hospital window.Beyond obtaining millions of dollars in settlements and alternative dispute resolution, Eric has obtained numerous verdicts for the injured and their families in the courtroom as well. Among others, Eric notably obtained a $495,000 verdict in an automobile accident case where the insurance company's final settlement offer before trial was $20,000; a $100,000 verdict in an automobile accident case where the insurance company's final settlement offer before trial was $3,000; and a $75,000 verdict in a premises liability case where the insurance company's final settlement offer was $0.Eric is licensed to practice in Connecticut and New York. He is an active member of the American Association of Justice, the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association and Medical Malpractice Committee, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the Connecticut Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the Regional Bar Association. Eric is also a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and American Trial Lawyers Association, and he has also lectured before the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association regarding litigation technique and trial strategy.Eric graduated from the Quinnipiac University School of Law, where he represented the University in National Mock Trial and Moot Court competitions.
