I've been the Data and Technology Services Director of ESD114 since June 2020. My journey getting here was not intentional, but many years ago, when I previously worked at the ESD as an analyst, I thought to myself that I'd really like to have this position. I'm grateful for the professional experiences that helped prepare me to serve in my current capacity.I have learned that as a leader, I will only be as successful as the staff who work for me. This concept directly affects how I prefer to manage my teams. I am motivated to help each member find success and grow by directing, encouraging, providing the right tools for the tasks at hand, and allowing opportunities for professional development and practical applications of new skills. Encouraging a healthy work-life balance is also a significant factor.
