In charge of the Safety Injection and Containment Spray Systems of the 900 MWe EDF Nuclear Power Plants (34 Pressurized Water Reactors). He deals with hydraulic calculations, system modifications to improve safety and operation tests and procedures.In charge the technical leadership and coordination of about 5 engineers specialized in the Nuclear Core Safety Systems.

Project description: In charge of the realization of Hazard PSA studies for French existing nuclear power plants and the design of EPR FA3 and HPC. In charge of the project coordination of the PSA studies of the EPR FA3 project. Function and responsibility for the assignment: - Realisation of Fire, Internal Flooding, Internal Explosion and External Hazards PSA. In-core and fuel pool risk assessment.- Development of the EDF Internal Explosion PSA methodology. - In charge of the Hazard PSA licensing process for EPR FA3.- Planning and coordination of PSA activities, alert reporting to the EPR FA3 project.

Project description: Realization of Main Steam Line Break studies and associated In-Containment Released Mass and Energy studies.

Project description: 2 months secondment in the context of the European Passive Plant project (EPP project), set up of a technical exchange group about Fire PSA methodology and tools. Function and responsibility for the assignment: - Exchange about the French and American approaches on Fire PSA methodology and tools.- Technical support to Westinghouse for the realization of the AP1000 Main Control Room fire risk assessment.
