Participated, as a software consultant, in the organizational change pertaining to the implementation of a collaborative R&D-engineering problem solving and cost improvement system for the automotive industry with the following requirements:• Homegrown J2EE/XML/Oracle/Business Object Intranet architecture capable of supporting polymorphic risk/fault/defect/cost management functions. • Capacity to track failures and technical issues affecting highly complex industrial products, and to assess the viability of corrective modifications proposed by multiple contributors. • Large-scale, multi-language deployment impacting multiple factories and thousands of users.• Multi-role, internal credentials for quality engineers, cost management and electronics specialists contributing to component and process design along the vehicle development cycle and series production.• Extended credentials for supply chain partners involved in upstream material procurement and downstream component release.• Flexible object library capable of accommodating different cascading schemas along a nine-step workflow: 1. Detection, 2. Log, 3. Categorization, 4. Prioritization,5. Investigation and diagnosis,6. Workaround and incident management,7. Kwown-error record and change management,8. Problem resolution,9. Problem closure, knowledge management, and continual service improvement.
