I have worked for Public Citizen Texas pushing environmental policy throughout the state of Texas. I was completely unaware of the opportunity Public Citizen would give me, and it was a place were I grew as a person, as well as developed a clearer vision of where I would like to go professionally. I also became a fellow at the John Sharp U.S. Senate Campaign, where I managed the campaigns online media presence. Here I have been able to expand my skills in the political world both through networking, and learning how to expand a message through online media. My personal goals would be to lobby, whether in energy or something other issue. To get to this point, I hope to staff either at the capital in DC, or another state capital and, as well as go back to school. I hope to take the next eight to ten years to refine my skills as much as possible before I take the next step in my career.Specialties: Online communications, community organizing, political events, communicating with elected officials, developing policy, research, energy and environmental issues (especially nuclear power and municipal utilites)
