CurrentMy responsibities include overseeing and directing all phases of paving projects. Design and implements project plans. Communicate directly with contractors/municipalities concerning project cost, staffing, and scheduling. Preparing project status reports and works to ensure plans adhere to contract specifications. Revenue generation through the development and management of strategic partnerships.Managing strategic planning, marketing efforts and sales forecasting and pipeline for Business Development. Represent HEH Paving Inc. at social functions, network with the people that can generate new leads for the company, generally with Owner’s representatives, developers, end users, architects, engineers, and etc., that may have projects within our expertise, knowledge or experience capabilitiesMotivate, coach and manage all Business Development, Preconstruction and Estimating AssociatesProvide input for proposal responses and develop portions of proposal submissions in concert with Business Development. Coordinate with the Operations & Estimating on team assignmentsLead the team during procurement or pre-construction to coordinate all contractibility, value engineering, estimating, cost control and procurement activities contribute to the development of standards, process, practices, etc. as needed for Preconstruction and Estimating to be a “Best of Class" provider in the construction industry. Ensure estimates, including general conditions, special conditions, insurance and bonds, are accurate, complete and reflect the actual requirements of project. Manage complex contract negations. Proactively identify and solve problems to minimize risk. Identify and promote solutions to any problem which might impede progress of a project opportunity/in-progress project or adversely affect customer and architect relations. Keep current on changes and trends in methods of construction and materials, construction costs and wage rates.
