I also run a 3d printing and design lab researching the creation of assistive tools for individuals with disabilities. Teaching BIOE442 - Python Programming for Bioengineers during summers in the Fischell Department of Bioengineering at the University of Maryland.

Post-Doctoral Research Associate working with Professor Eric E. Mamajek on both low and high resolution stellar spectroscopy of solar-type stars in young stellar associations. Also acting as a men- tor to undergraduate and graduate students by training them in vi- sual spectral classification, precision abundance analysis work and 1 of 6 drafting observing and grant proposals. Most recently, have under- taken the responsibility of purchasing and commisioning a low-cost, commercial spectrograph for use by undergraduate students on the 24 inch Mees Observatory telescope. Final duties include the organi- zation and assignment of presentation duties for weekly Astronomy Group Meetings.

Conducting studies of various stellar populations using high resolution stellar spectroscopy. Topics of interest include post T Tauri stars, short-period exoplanet host stars and moving group populations. Also undertook an advisory role by training undergraduate student Michael Tcacik on devel- opment of a semi-automated tool for performing abundance analysis on young solar-type stars.

Operation of planetarium for both public shows and labora- tory enrichment for undergraduate astronomy lab sections.

I taught Astronomy labs as a TA and conducted research on stars using high resolution stellar spectroscopy.

Preparation of lectures and guiding students through com- puter simulated lab exercises.

· Assisted with a low resolution spectroscopic survey of solar-type stars. Included obtaining spectra with the 32-inch Telescope and Gray/Miller Spectrograph at the Dark Sky Observatory and analysis of spectra obtained from the 90-inch Bok Telescope of

· Responsibilities included setup of ten-inch Meade telescopes for use by introductory astronomy lab students and overseeing progress of students during lab sessions.
