About Eric Buell
I am a family man and have a beautiful wife and 4 incredible little boys! Originally from South Louisiana and LSU alumni, I was relocated to Houston for a job opportunity in Oil and Gas. This was in 2013, right before the oil and gas market crashed. Laid off with a pregnant wife I went into panic mode/survival mode, bought a small pressure washer and started cleaning houses in the neighborhood, waiting on the price of oil to go back up... Since the price of oil was showing no signs of improvement, I fell back on my prior experience and got a job as a mortgage banker with the Bank of Texas. The entire time I was working as a mortgage banker all I could think about was pressure washing and starting a pressure washing business. After losing a renter, income and house in Baton Rouge (from the flood) I realized I had to do something to start bringing in some extra money, so I started pressure washing again. About a week into it I finally realized the opportunity that the good lord was putting in front of me so I went and invested about 4k in commercial pressure washing equipment and started "Geaux Fleaux". At the time I was 41 years old, have a Business Degree in Statistics from LSU, have owned a mortgage company and have spent about 8 years as a drilling engineer, and here I am.... pressure washing houses, getting dirty, physically WORKING.... AND LOVE IT! I always heard that if you do something that you love you will never work another day in your life. Well that's where I am right now!!! I love pressure washing and plan on taking Geaux Fleaux to the moon and back. We operate and live by 4 primary principles: Honesty, Professionalism, Integrity and Value! People love me, and they love what I am doing - try it! Like I tell everyone...... “Just Geaux with the Fleaux”!!!
