As Oregon's representative to the Board of Directors of the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, I am a liaison between our profession's state and regional professional organizations.

Representing Oregon's orthodontists on our regional professional association board

I was on the board since 2011, and in 2015 I served as President of the organization. As a component of the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists and American Association of Orthodontists, the OSSO represents the orthodontists in OR's interests in policy matters and education. During my time on the board we successfully partnered with the OR Board of Dentistry to update the rules governing EFODA certified assistants and we have provided annual continuing education to our members. I also organized a new meeting for members to meet the new licensure requirements in OR and lead a rewrite of our organization's Bylaws.
