I currently create and implement Safety and Health initiatives, Human Resource Management, Operations and Process Improvement as well as Controller/Bookkeeping within a combination of companies. Construction, Commercial and Residential real estate, Storage and even a Used Car lot. During my time as OperationsDirector of a Medical Office I oversaw all site operations, coordination of care with medical providers and clinical staff, assist HR Director and create a positive encouraging atmosphere for the clients. This position provided me the opportunity to help our patients find a path to a better quality of life. In addition to that I can utilize the lessons I’ve learned over the years to create a working environment so every employee will be engaged, be fulfilled, be motivated and be happy to come to work each day. During my tenure as Wellness Director I fulfilled several HR functions as well as Employee Wellness initiatives. I directly overseen all operational functions of the facility managing over 20 employees. My employment at Baptist Health allowed me the opportunity to become familiar with multiple aspects of healthcare management.I have found in the Health & Wellness Industry a passion for employee well-being. Improving an individual's quality of life is something that continues to be beneficial long after the job is done. As my career progressed, I was in a unique position to report directly to the Executive Director of Human Resources, which gave me some insight into how I could improve the lives of those under my leadership and the company as a whole. My goals are to improve employee engagement, well-being, and overall job satisfaction. I have a solid educational foundation with a degree in Business Administration and Management. It is my passion to make a difference wherever I am. I continue to work on improving myself daily, both physically and spiritually. I strive to inspire and motivate those around me and strongly believe that personal discipline and faith are integral to success. I was fortunate to find martial arts at a young age and continue to enjoy the benefits of teaching students not only the discipline of physical fitness, but the benefits of self-confidence, personal empowerment and character development.
