Grant medical center is a level 1 trauma center located in downtown Columbus Ohio. I was the manager for 28 FTE's. I was in charge of the oversight of all OR's and to maintain the cleanliness of all the trauma bays including the helipad. I over saw the day to day operations of all the daily discharges and the cleaning of the facility. Responded to concerns and requests with a sense of urgency and took necessary corrective action including timely follow up. Participated in staff selection process. Interviewed candidates as needed. Conducted regular staff meetings and communicated with members of other departments to coordinate housekeeping activities. Planned work schedule's , scheduled days off, holiday, vacations ensuring the facility's needs were met.
