Project Engineer
As a Project Engineer with Ovivo I performed a variety of duties to design, install, and maintain wastewater treatment equipment at the headworks of job sites. Specific duties included;● Designed and installed wastewater treatment equipment for use by municipal wastewater treatment facilities, oil and gas operations, and agricultural operations. Specific equipment was installed at the headworks of the treatment pipeline and removed large contaminants via bar screens and trash rakes, proprietary drum screen and band screen systems, vortex grit removal systems, and various compacting and dewatering systems.● Created and organized project documentation including engineering drawings for fabrication, purchase, and assembly to ensure product delivery with minimal delays; marked project specifications to ensure all contractual obligations were met; completed and notarized calculations to verify equipment has met all necessary contractual requirements; operations and maintenance (O&M) manuals for use by site staff during installation and daily operation; completed Request For Information (RFI) documentation; purchase orders for third party equipment; and others.● Responsible for managing multiple simultaneous projects at various stages of design and coordinating with customers, project managers, third party equipment vendors, drafters, fabricators, field service technicians, purchasing and procurement staff, and fellow project engineers to ensure efficient delivery of equipment.● Performed onsite startup, maintenance, and troubleshooting with field service technicians and site operations staff to ensure equipment was performing as specified.
