Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, I led the Accounting, Accounts Payable, FP&A, Purchasing, and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) teams, totaling more than 60 employees. These teams were responsible for contributing to the success of the company by continuously improving their respective operational processes and developing and maintaining KPI’s that monitor their effectiveness. Along with financial results and metrics, this information was presented in weekly dashboards to the private equity owners, monthly communications to the owners and debt holders, and quarterly presentations to the board of directors. The most significant improvements were supported by the implementation of new ERM (Brightree) and financial ERP/Reporting (NetSuite and NetSuite Planning and Budgeting) systems.As the Chief Financial Officer, it was my responsibility to oversee the budget and forecast processes and ongoing EBITDA and cash flow developments. Financial strategies and cost measures were implemented, as needed, to ensure the resources are available to support the expected growth. As a member of the executive management team, I worked with the CEO and COO to develop and oversee implementation of the overall strategy to grow the company and present updates to the private equity owners and board of directors. I worked alongside the leadership team and private equity owners to identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets and new markets, and I was directly involved in performing the due diligence. We closed and integrated three acquisitions and entered several new markets (de novo), that 4x the size of the company in our first two years.

Led the successful implementation of a new ERP/Reporting system integrated with external Revenue Cycle Management, Expense Reporting, and Payroll processing platforms. Improved and standardized operational and financial workstreams to maximize efficiency, and developed metrics tied to achieving company profitability targets. Worked with regional vice presidents to develop processes to ensure efficient and timely matching of new clients and clinicians in the markets they lead. Met with private equity owners on a regular basis to discuss the financial results and key operational initiatives to support profitable growth.
