As a Senior Scientist, it is my role to participate as an integral member of a cross-functional team tasked with the development of innovative new genomics products and applications based on LexaGene’s technology, utilizing automated sample preparation, novel microfluidic platforms, and quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR). One of my main tasks and goals as an employee at LexaGene is to manage scientific research projects geared toward innovative advanced customer projects highlighting the use of the MiQLab in a variety of markets. Further, in a leadership role, I've taken ownership working directly with internal biology, engineering, sales, marketing, and finance members facilitating positive interactions between external customers and LexaGene serving as the technical expert. Additionally, I directly contribute and drive scientific writing and communication through authoring and/or developing blogs, application notes, white papers, and PR news releases highlighting LexaGene’s novel technology and impact. While further supporting external research collaborations between a variety of parties including universities and commercial organizations by implementing and managing internal/external scientific needs.
