• Supported the development and enhancement of the Automated Metadata Population Service (AMPS) to enhance the availability of discoverable metadata throughout the Air Force.
• Implemented Open Office replacement using Apache POI for document text parsing. Cut AMPS overall document processing time in half, reduced app size by 400 Mb, reduced compile time from 10min to 1.5min, increased user.

• The specific tasks below were part of a large DoD / DNI effort to make available near real time data from any number of data sources / agencies in a central GUI for use by data analysts.
• Technical lead for the push to integrate CIA WIRe and LNI into the ICDL framework. Designed, implemented, and deployed code that extracts historical and new DDMS records into the ICDL.
• Designed and developed code base to enable the quick addition of data sources to our data aggregating framework.
• Developed a GWT web app to control indexing and other state of data sources feeding our framework. Tool also reported important metrics on indexing progress and other important failures.
• Implement code and logic needed to pull all historical data from any data source added to the ICDL framework. This is needed to populate indexing software to speed up data retrieval.

• Designed and developed a custom data migration utility for the Information Management System for Mine Action (IMSMA) project to replace a commercial tool that was found to be too limited in capabilities.
