Working alongside Area Technicians in the Bancroft and Barry's Bay areas the following was performed:• Design of single and three phase power lines; both rural and sub-transmission voltage including staking and mapping.• Property title searches for easement and anchor agreements.• Underground cable locates and underground fault locates.• Assisted power line maintainers in framing of wood and composite poles as well with installation of submarine conductor.• Road and shoreline closures for Hydro One Real Estate and local municipalities. • Use of ArcFM, ArcMap and AutoCAD software for service layouts and line betterments.While working with the area Meter Technician the following duties were preformed:• 2s and Transformer Type Meter Changes.• Assist with current transformer installations.• Smart Meter investigations for non-functioning smart meters.• High bill complaints in regards to meter accuracy.• Collections for delinquent customer accounts.
