I am a Professional Geoscientist having worked in the mining industry for more than twenty years gaining experience primarily in resource and reserve estimation, applied geostatistics, geologic modelling, QA/QC analysis, mine reconciliation, and sampling theory, most recently managing the Technical Services for Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. I have provided consultancy on a variety of gold and silver projects including epithermal vein systems in Mexico, Peru, Turkey, USA, Canada and Venezuela; skarn deposits in Mexico; and porphyry gold deposits in Slovakia. Experience also includes undertaking resource estimations on base metal deposits including VMS and porphyries as well as auditing a variety of iron ore projects on behalf of Vale and Rio Tinto and conducting resource estimations on banded iron formations in Sierra Leone, Saudi Arabia and Greenland on behalf of London Mining Plc.
